Palette: Delta Ceramcoat Acrylic Paint
Antique White
Black
Pigskin
Autumn Brown
Dark Forest Green
Black Green
AC Flesh
Barn Red
Chocolate Cherry
Norsk Blue
Midnight Blue
Toffee Brown


Brushes:  Royal Langnickel
Aqualon R2700 - 1" Glaze wash (for basecoating)
Aqualon 2250 - 5/0 Round (for details)
Aqualon R2160 - 3/8", 5/8" and 1" Angular Shader


You will need:
Sawtooth Hanger
Wood Glue
Delta Matte Finishing Spray
Minwax "Golden Oak Stain" spray

Cutting Instructions:
3/4" Pine - Cut Plaque
1/8" Plywood - Cut four blocks

Painting Instructions:
BASECOATS
Edges - (Not corner blocks) Base BARN RED
Inside - Base ANTIQUE WHITE
Tree Block - Base edges DARK FOREST GREEN, base inside AC FLESH.
Stocking Block - Base edges PIGSKIN, base inside AC FLESH.
Snowflake Block - Base edges NORSK BLUE, base inside AC FLESH.
Candy Cane Block - Base edges BARN RED, base inside AC FLESH.

Lightly sand with palm sander to smooth surface for detail painting.  Transfer any details with graphite paper.

DETAILS
Edges - (Not corner blocks) Stencil 3/8" checkerboard with CHOCOLATE CHERRY, then shade with CHOCOLATE CHERRY.

Inside - Shade AC FLESH.  Lettering is BLACK, Stars are PIGSKIN, shade stars with AUTUMN BROWN.

Tree Block - Shade inside of block with TOFFEE. Paint tree with DARK FOREST GREEN. 
Shade edges and tree and paint trunk with BLACK GREEN.

Stocking Block - Shade inside of block with TOFFEE. Paint stocking NORSK BLUE. 
Paint toes, heel and band at top of stocking with PIGSKIN.  Shade edges of block, toes, heel and band at top of stocking with MIDNIGHT BLUE.


Snowflake Block - Shade inside of block with TOFFEE. Shade edges of block and paint snowflake with MIDNIGHT BLUE.


Candy Can Block - Shade inside of block with TOFFEE. Paint candy cane with alternating stripes of ANTIQUE WHITE and BARN RED.  Shade edges of block and red stripes with CHOCOLATE CHERRY.

Finishing & Assembly:
Glue blocks in place.  After glue is dry you might want to take project back to sander and make sure 1/4" blocks are even with plaque underneath.  Paint sides of blocks, the colors to match individual blocks.

Lightly speckle project with ANTIQUE WHITE and BLACK.
Antique project with Spray stain. Give a light coat of matte finishing spray to everything. 
Let Dry. Hammer in sawtooth hanger.
